Call for abstracts

Requirements

Submission of an abstract implies that organizers have permission to reproduce the abstract in the program and reports related to the conference

 

Instructions

The call for abstracts is open for poster presentations only. Each succesful applicant will additionally have a 3-minute oral presentation to describe their poster. There will be a few key note presentations that will be by invitation only. If you are submitting an abstract, you must be the presenter and first author.

  • Authors will have to submit an abstract in ENGLISH related to one of the sessions of the Conference.
  • A maximum of 1 abstract can be submitted per participant as first author.
  • Select one of the topics listed in the submission form  :
  1. How does the Earth system respond to forcing?
  2. What are the origins and consequences of systematic model biases?
  3. How can we assess future climate changes given climate variability, predictability and uncertainties in scenarios?
  • Make your abstract as informative as possible
  • The abstract is limited to 300 words

 

To access the abstract submission form create a account through the login button on the top right side of the website. You'll then have a private space to submit your abstract.

 

 

Travel support

Some limited funding is available on a competitive basis for early career scientists (ECS)* and scientist based in developing countries whose abstracts are selected for presentation.   To be considered for travel support, you will need to insert your curriculum vitae (max 4,000 characters), a motivation letter (max 4,000 characters) outlining your interest and please send a one page (pdf format) signed recommendation letter from your supervisor to catherine.michaut@ipsl.fr with copy to mrixen@wmo.int

*To qualify as an Early Career Scientist (ECR)  your last graduate degree must be within the last 5 years at the time of the conference
